For Allied Health students and Nursing. First and foremost, basic words are broken down to their Latin roots: root, suffix, and prefix. Then, A wide range of terms is then introduced with practical examples, as in pericardial tamponade (‘around’ the heart, etc.). These terms will be introduced primarily based upon the Body System. We begin with the Cell itself, then Tissues, then the 11 Body Systems, followed by pathologies. We complete the course by addressing terms dealing with many different medical specialties.
